St. Ursula Girls' English Primary School

'Arise Shine' with this motto our great institution was established by our founder Mrs.Cooper in the year 1857-58. Since then the baton, which passed by her, successfully carried out since 162 years in empowering and educating girl child.

St. Ursula English Primary School is centrally located in the heart of the city and focuses on the primary education of girl child from Nursery to Std. 4th. As rightly quoted by our First Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru "Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow".

I feel privileged as I am entrusted with this great responsibility of nurturing these tiny tots to the responsible citizen of tomorrow. We wish that each of our students should Arise and Shine in their venture of getting educated and there by not only get educated but also become the educator of generations.

Including the girls students from the different spheres and walk of life, it is like a family, which not only kindle the spark of education and help in erasing literacy from the society but also transform, renew and build lives. With faith, cooperation and dedication, we hope to cross all the boundaries of success in the year to come.
